What is a brewpub? Well to harken back to brewing history, a brewpub is traditionally a pub where you can drink beer that was brewed in that same building. So though our equipment might be slightly larger than the local haunt in the rural UK, we’re technically a brewpub.

We brew all of our beers are brewed right here on our 10 barrel system and bottled on site as well. We brew predominately ales but we love to experiement and hope to make everything from sours to lagers for our seasonals. We bottle our main four year-round beers, Chromatic Cream Ale, Abstract Amber Ale, Iridescent IPA, and Sepia Stout and our most popular seasonals, like our annual IPA, Countour IPA 2021.

ART IS AN ALE beers are available in cafes, hotels, restaurants and shops throughout the region. And we are always looking for send it where ever there is a taste for it. Have a look at our beer finder page to locate a retailer in your area or contact us if you are interested to carry it.

BEER. We have 4 year-round signature beers; #chromaticcreamale #abstractamberale #iridescentipa #sepiastout. Then we have 2 rotating seasonal beers on draft. Most often the seasonal beers are made by ART IS AN ALE BREWING, but occasionally we host other local breweries. FOOD. We serve a combination of traditional and non-traditional apréro snacks. Our menu includes cheese and charcuterie plates full of items made by locals. With the exception of some “fait maison” dips and spreads, all of our products come from this region and support our community of artisans. Have a look at our menu for more details.

VISIT. We host tastings for groups year round by reservation in English. The tasting includes a set of flights of our 4 signature beers in 12.5cl sample-sized glasses and a brief presentation of the story of our brewery. To make a reservation click the button below for pricing and available dates
